A Min With Vin VI

Last night millions of people tuned into HBO to watch the long awaited season premiere of Game of Thrones. Trying not to spoil anything, the season premiere pretty much starts right where the season five finale left off. Jon Snow :( From the get go, we're thrown right back in Castle Black and the city of Meereen. There is no telling what is in store for this season. Even with just this episode they already left us with a cliffhanger. HBO also saw the season premieres of Veep and Silicon Valley, two of their most acclaimed comedies. While I am not familiar with Veep, I watched this episode and was pleasantly surprised. Julia Louis Dreyfus is such a joy to watch and being unedited on HBO really allows her to shine. I now know what show to binge watch next. The final show to premiere yesterday, Silicon Valley transitioned seamlessly into its third season. Pied Piper may have found it's new CEO, but the team begins to become divided. To cap off the Sunday schedule, Jon Oliver once again provided us with the weekly bullshit we call the news along with a detailed look into the debt crisis Puerto Rico is facing. Sunday belongs to HBO with this stacked line-up.

Tomorrow five more state primaries are taking place within the Northeast and Trump is shaping up to be the Republican winner by double digits. GOP candidates Ted Cruz and John Kasich have announced they have joined forces in an effort to stop Trump from clinching the nomination. Trump tweeted:

Cruz and Kasich shouldn't have said anything. They basically said which states they will literally try to steal votes from which is a poor campaign strategy in my opinion. On the Democratic side, the Bern seems to be wearing off as the possibility of Senator Sanders winning the nomination wears thin. Hillary leads by some double digits in some of the contested states. The last chance is the Pacific Northwest and California which have over 400 delegates at stake.

With the Summer approaching, dangerous weather systems will become more frequent and severe. The Midwest is facing severe thunderstorms today with hail and the likely possibility of tornadoes touching down. Tornado alley will see true monsters in the coming years with the climate changing at the rate it is. Below is a tweet of an eyewitness video of a funnel cloud forming but never touching down.

And with that the minute is up.
