Use Two Sticks To Make It In The Nature

This past Saturday concluded a three night run for the Red Hot Chili Peppers at Madison Square Garden. Even though I was only able to make it to the closing show on Saturday, years of planning with friends to go see them finally came to fruition. I remember back in high school when I was first introduced to the Chili Peppers being instantly drawn to them. Already a huge fan of rock music, the RHCP quickly found a place in the top of my playlist. The reason for having such a big impact on me, was the variety of emotions their songs invoke and how they bring you on an emotional roller coaster that you do not want to get off of. After the concert my friend that I went with dwelled on the topic of music and emotions. We were both simply baffled by how much power music can have one your mood and how music can convey these emotions so well. Perhaps the Chili Peppers said it best themselves, “music the great communicator.”
